THE MISSION
The Made for Amazing Project™ is about encouragement, harmony and celebration. Our mission is to inspire others to live with authenticity and a greater sense of purpose. Our goal is incredibly simple.
We want to reach at least 10 million people worldwide with a very personal message:
Your Life Matters.
You are Designed for a Purpose.
You are MADE for AMAZING.
As part of our goal, we seek to develop 100,000 authentic leaders who dedicate their unique gifts to improve the quality of life for others around the world. We will offer products, services, and educational tools that make a life of great purpose and authenticity possible.
THE CHALLENGE
Where there is no Belief, there is no Hope.
Where there is no Hope, there is no Love.
Where there is no Love, there is no Life.
We are now seeing this human tragedy play out on a worldwide stage, and the trends are both alarming and heartbreaking:
- There are almost 1 million suicides annually (one person commits suicide every 40 seconds). These numbers are expected to double by 2020. Suicide is now among the three leading causes of death among those ages 15-44; China and India alone account for 30% of the totals. Approximately 20 million suicide attempts now occur each year.
- Mental health issues (particularly depression and substance abuse) are associated with more than 90% of all suicides. These challenges are at their highest levels ever – and still growing. 450 million people suffer from mental disorders, and it’s estimated that one in four people worldwide will be affected by mental or neurological disorders at some point in their lives.
- Nearly one in five children live in single parent homes. The suicide rate in single parent homes is almost twice that of a home where both parents are present.
- Approximately 50% of people worldwide are struggling with chronic anxiety.
- Hate crimes which “manifest evidence of prejudice based on race, gender or gender identity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity” increasingly dominate world news.
- Rampant consumerism plagues many nations, leading to greater division between “haves” and “have-nots,” while subtly encouraging lives dedicated to the pursuit of “things.” As many often learn, “Our hands are full; our lives are not.”
- There is an unprecedented pressure to adapt or conform to our perception of what is considered a successful life.
- We are threatened by pressures from within ourselves and in the world around us; we often settle for a life of “merely existing.”
Behind many of these challenges often lies the belief that life is not sacred – that it has no enduring value, nor matters to others. These beliefs can easily lead to feelings of worthlessness and despair, the result of which becomes a self-focused life.
Ironically, when focused only on ourselves, we lose our truest sense of purpose, and lose touch with those unique reasons for which we were authentically created. We are slowly losing our hearts and our souls, and it’s literally killing us.

The Made for Amazing Project™ was created to guide people back to the heart of the matter – that life truly matters. We all have a special role in this world, and a specific reason for being placed here at this moment in human history.
Our goal is to encourage people to Believe. To reclaim a spirit of imagination – to dream, develop, grow and innovate. With belief comes hope, love, and a desire to make a difference in the world. These are the steps that lead to an Authentic Life and Leadership Purpose.
Our dream is to help 10 million people find their song, and sing it boldly with the world.

Mark Nation
Founder and President
Mark Nation is a globally recognized management expert, leadership consultant, executive coach, author and speaker. In addition to the Made For Amazing Project™, he is Founder and CEO of Nation Leadership and the Harvard Help Circle™. Mark has developed and managed companies in five diverse industries, and he has worked with a wide range of clients, from young leaders, corporate managers and executives, to start-ups, Fortune 500 organizations, schools, non-profits and churches.
Mark is personally obsessed with discovering what makes individuals, teams and organizations amazing – those elements which drive the heart and soul of people and businesses worldwide. He is convinced that life and work are meant to be experienced as “superlatives,” and everyone brings one-of-a-kind gifts to life that make the extraordinary possible. His upcoming book, Made for Amazing: An Instrumental Journey of Authentic Leadership Transformation, aims to help people identify and sharpen their unique talents in the workplace and beyond.
Mark graduated summa cum laude from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is a former professional musician and Ironman triathlete, and he still thrives on skiing, long-distance running and triathlon. Mark’s work and travels have taken him to over 40 U.S. states and 35 countries, where he has managed, performed or spoken to over 300,000 people. When not traveling, Mark is based in Tennessee.
